Asia Network Forum (ANF) was established in 2000. Initially, it was established by 5 conformity assessment organizations including: CQC (China), ETC (Taiwan, China), JQA (Japan), KTL (Korea) and TÜV SÜD PSB (Singapore) since 2000 and QUATEST 3 (Vietnam) joined in 2009.

ANF's operational objectives are as follows:
1. Provide convenient and quick certification services for enterprises;
2. Capacity building through technical sharing among member organizations;
3. Develop a system to promote mutual recognition and expand the certification market;
4. Reflect on common opinions from the Asian region in international advisory bodies such as ISO and IEC.
Annual ANF activities include: organizing 2 regular meetings: - GA meeting will be held around November to December every year and Adhoc technical meeting (ANF Ad hoc Technical meeting) will be held on around the middle of the year between June and July every year. These meetings will be held alternately in countries of ANF member organizations.
QUATEST 3 delegation representatives
The General Assembly (GA Meeting) is a meeting with the full participation of all ANF members. It will be held at least once a year. Member organizations will hold GA Meeting on a rotating basis.
The technical meeting (ANF Ad-hoc technical meeting) is held on a rotating basis at ANF member organizations. Ad-hoc meeting aims to discuss with each other issues surrounding trends, regulations and new ideas in testing and certification activities. Most meetings are held in person but depending on circumstances, epidemics... and based on consensus that members have agreed to. In 2023, ANF organized an online meeting instead of meeting in person. By early March 2024, ANF decided to have a direct Ad-Hoc technical meeting. This year, ANF proposed to organize it in Vietnam, hosting by QUATEST 3.
The ANF Ad-Hoc Meeting 2024 at QUATEST 3 Testing Complex on July 10th, 2024
In this time, the ANF Ad-hoc meeting 2024 taking place in Vietnam has the participation of 28 representatives from ANF member organizations including: 7 members from KTL (Korea); 5 members from JQA (Japan); 2 members from ETC (Taiwan) and 14 members from QUATEST 3 (Vietnam).
The agenda of theANF Ad-hoc meeting 2024 focuses on discussing the following contents such as:
- Committee 1 - Policy: in charge by JQA, deals with establishing and updating policies and rules for ANF’s activities and organization
- Committee 2 - Promotion & Marketing: in charge by QUATEST 3, activities to promote ANF activities to members' customers, member candidates and other competitions
- Committee 3 - Electrical Safety: in charge by KTL, share international and domestic regulations and/or procedures and/or standards as well as requirements to improve technical capacity and capacity of Organize membership through collaboration
- New Normal Committe: representatives of organizations participating in the new normal group are responsible for finding directions for new business activities. Member organizations can propose new business ideas and these can be transferred and developed by technical committees.

Through the above topics, ANF members want to propose solutions to develop capacity, create more understanding and consensus in the field of conformity certification among ANF member countries.
Overall, the agenda of ANF Ad-hoc Meeting 2024 done by QUATEST 3 took place in a positive discussion atmosphere and a lot of useful knowledge were shared.
